Jamat-e-Islami (JI) has submitted an adjournment motion in Senate Secretariat, seeking immediate discussion on the mistreatment meted out to the visiting Pakistan Army's delegation at Dulles Airport last week.
The adjournment motion was submitted by JI's Naib Amir, Professor Khurshid Ahmed in which he expressed strong resentment over the "mistreatment" meted out to the military delegation by the US security officials at the airport, says a statement issued here on Sunday.
Prof. Khurshid demanded that the Senate should take strong notice and condemn the irreverent treatment meted out to Army's delegation that was invited to visit Central Command (Centcom) last week. The JI leader also asked the government to review its relations with the US.
