Items consumed in Ramazan like grams, fruits others sustain rising trend

The items like chana, masoor, wheat, fruits consumers keenly buy during Ramazan sustained rise during the week ended on September 4, 2010. On Saturday trading was thin due to lack of buying interest. Moong Punjab was up by Rs 50 to Rs 8750, masoor dal gained Rs 200 to Rs 9000, Urad Burma was quoted at Rs 4400-4700 and Khandsari was registered at Rs 9000-9800. Cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh was quoted higher at Rs 1200.
