'Route violation by Quds rally led to Quetta suicide attack'

Home Minister Balochistan Mir Zafrullah Zehri on Sunday described violation of devised route by the procession held to mark Youmal Quds in Quetta on Friday last, as main reason of suicide attack at Mezan Chowk, the commercial hub of Quetta city.
Addressing a crowded news conference along with Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani, IGP Balochistan Malik Muhammad Iqbal, CCPO Abid Hussain Nutkani, Commandant Balochistan Constabulary Ghulam Shabbir Shaikh and DIG Investigation Qazi Abdul Wahid at IG Office here, he said that total 52 people were killed and more than 150 injured in the suicide explosion.
To a question, he said that some of the procession members opened firing after the blast, which injured 24 people. He noted that Chief Minister Balochistan has requested to Chief Justice Balochistan High Court to set up Judicial Commission which would be headed by CJ BHC to conduct probe into the carnage.
He maintained that ministerial commission had been set up to conduct investigation into the incident. He maintained the commission headed by him includes ministers Ainullah Shams and Jan Ali Changezi, Home Secretary, IGP and others.
