'Punjab government to generate maximum job opportunities for youth'

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that government has decided to generate maximum job opportunities for the educated youth in the flood-hit areas. He said in addition to providing facilities of vocational education, small loans will also be offered to youth with the help of private organisations for setting up their businesses.
He said that no effort will be spared for the complete rehabilitation of the flood affected people and Quaid Pakistan Muslim League-N Nawaz Sharif will also celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with the flood victims. This was stated by the Chief Minister while addressing the flood-affected victims and talking to the journalists at the helipad after inspection of Diara Din Panah Rural Health Center during the day.
This information was received here Sunday. On the instructions of the Chief Minister the health centre has been restored within 24 hours and 600 patients are being provided free of charge medical facilities daily. The Chief Minister also visited different flood-hit areas of Kot Addu and Sadiqabad, besides distributing relief items among the calamity-hit people in Kot Mithan and Jampur by helicopter.
He further said that he is fully aware of the damages caused by the flood and will personally deliver the cheques of the relief assistance to the flood affected people. He said that the flood is a trial of the nation.
He made an appeal to the masses to bow before Allah Almighty in the holy month of Ramazan and seek His forgiveness so that the nation could come out successfully from this crisis. The Chief Minister directed District Co-ordination Officer Muzaffargarh Tahir Khursheed to pay special attention to the provision of food and other necessities to the flood affected victims in the relief camp. A Turk friend and Regional Director of World Health Organisation also accompanied the Chief Minister during his visit to Diara Din Panah.
