Relief goods arrive from Bahrain

A plane carrying relief goods donated by government of Bahrain arrived here on Tuesday. The relief goods were received by the Consul General of Bahrain in Karachi, Adil Abdul Rehman Taqi and delivered to Lieutenant Colonel Salim Rao of Pakistan Army at the airport.
The 43-ton relief cargo contained medicines, tents, food and other miscellaneous items. Talking to media, the Consul General said that like other Muslim countries, Bahrain would also play its role to help the people of Pakistan in this hour of crisis. He said another consignment of relief goods for the flood victims will arrive after Eid-ul-Fitr.
