Sindh education department sets up 14 relief camps in Hyderabad

The Additional Secretary Provincial Education Department, Ashfaq Kazi, has said that Provincial Education Department was hosting 6550 IDPs at its 14 relief camps established in the college buildings in Hyderabad Region under the directives of Senior Minister Education Pir Mazharul Haq.
He said that in addition to provide food and medical facilities to these IDPs, transport facilities were also being provided to these IDPs and claimed that till yet as many as 2,500 IDPs either have been brought to relief camps or provided transport to return back after normalcy at their native places.
The Regional Director Colleges Mirza Imam Ali Baig has given break-up of the relief camps with number of IDPs residing there, which revealed that as many as 400 IDPs have been placed at Government Sachal Sarmast College Hyderabad, 500 placed at Government Muslim College Hyderabad, 150 accommodated at Government I.H. Zubairi Science College Hyderabad.
Similarly 400 IDPs kept at Government Girls College Qasimabad Hyderabad, 800 placed at Government Boys College Kotri, 500 at Government Girls College Kotri. Likewise 500 IDPs placed at Government S.M. College Tando Allahyar, 400 IDPs at Government Boys Degree College Matiari, 600 at Government Girls Degree College Matiari, besides 500 IDPs kept at Government Boys College Hala, 600 at Government Girls College Hala, 100 at Government College Nasapur, 500 at Government College Bhitshah and 600 at Government College Saeedpur.
