Bangladesh announces $2 million relief assistance

The Bangladesh government has announced two million US dollars relief assistance for the flood victims of Pakistan. An amount of one million US dollars will be spent on the visit of about 38 doctors and paramedics, who will arrive in Pakistan to perform their duties in Thatta and Hyderabad.
The remaining one million US dollars are being spent on the procurement of medicines, food supplies, blankets, tents and other relief items. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has already lifted about 11 tonns of medicines from Bangladesh.
