Malaysian Council donates vanaspati, edible oil

Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), an Association of Palm Oil Refiners in Malaysia, has donated vanaspati and edible oil worth 450,000 dollars to be distributed amongst the flood-affected people in various camps of Pakistan.
MPOC Chairman Dato' Lee Yeow Chor in a message to Mohammed Bashir Janmohammed, Chairman, Pakistan-Malaysia Economic Co-operation Committee of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, has shown great concern over this catastrophe and assured their fullest support for the flood-affected people.
Tan Sri Lee Oi Hian, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of KL-Kepong and Dato' Sabri Ahmad, Group President/CEO, Felda Global Ventures Holdings, who contributed in a big way to MPOC, have also shown their great concern over this calamity in Pakistan.
M. Bashir Janmohammed, who is also Chairman Westbury Group-Pakistan, has expressed his gratitude to the MPOC Chairman, CEO KL-Kepong and Group President/CEO Felda Global Ventures Holdings for their generous support.
Faisal lqbal, Regional Manager, MPOC in Pakistan along with M. Bashir Janmohammed donated vansapati worth rupees five million on Wednesday and handed over to Commandant, Abdullah Shah Ghazi Rangers, Karachi for distribution of the same in various flood-affected areas of Sindh, specially Thatta and adjourning areas. A simple ceremony was held at Abdullah Shah Ghazi Ranger, Karachi, Head Quarters for handing over of Vanaspati for distribution onwards.-PR
