Senior Provincial Minister Raja Riaz Ahmed was given cheques of Rs 1.5 lack by party workers traders and social leaders at sheikupura, which were forwarded to the Prime Minister's relief fund. Talking on this occasion, Raja Riaz Ahmed said that it was the worst flood in the history and every citizen should put his share in this noble cause.
He said that no government can alone meet challenge of this kind and rehabilitation would be a bigger task to fulfil. He appealed the philanthropists to join hands of the government and donate generously for the help of the flood hit masses at large.
