10 police officials selected for Hajj: computerised balloting held

Islamabad police held computerised balloting to select 10 police officials who would perform Hajj on police expense this year. The computerised balloting was held at Police Headquarters and the ceremony was attended by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Kaleem Imam, DIG Headquarters Kamaluddin Tipu, AIG General Ahmad Mukaram and other officers and jawans of the force, spokesman of Islamabad Police said here on Saturday.
Islamabad police arranged computerised balloting to ensure the transparency in selection of the 10 policemen who would perform Haj during this year. The employees were selected through computer balloting to make transparent, the spokesman said.
The officers and officials who got selected through balloting include Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar Baig, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ziaullah, Constables Javed Iqbal, Muhamaad Ajmal, Noor-ur-Rehman, Tariq Mehmood, Muhammad Ashfaq, Mumtaz Ahmad, Sadeer Khan and tailor master Allah Ditta. Reserved candidates were also selected in case the above mentioned candidates may not leave due to some of their personal reasons.
The names of reserved candidates are ASI Qadeer Ahmed, HC Muhamaad Arif, Constable Amjad Ali, Dry cleaner Sarajuddin. IGP Islamabad Kaleem Imam said that these 10 police officials are very much lucky and asked them to pray during their Holy Journey for Islamabad police. It is our duty to come up to the expectations of the people and make justice with all without any discrimination, he said adding that these selected policemen should pray during the Haj that all of us can accomplish our duties in a more responsible manner and honest way.
