National and provincial parliamentarians from various districts called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Monday and discussed relief activities being carried out for the flood affectees. According to an official, elected representatives informed the chief minister about people's problems and development projects in their respective areas.
Elected representatives paid tributes to the chief minister for his relentless efforts for the relief and rehabilitation of flood affectees and said that the steps taken by him in this regard are unprecedented. Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said services of elected representatives in the relief work are commendable and they should take active part in the rehabilitation process as well. Those who met the chief minister included MNA Khawaja Saad Rafique and MPAs Syed Shams Haider, Lieutenant Colonel Shabbir Hussain (Retd) and Haji Allah Rakha.
