Deputy High Commissioner of People's Republic of Bangladesh, Rooh-ul-Alam Siddiqui Monday called on Chief Minister, Sindh Qaim Ali Shah at the CM's House. He expressed sorrow on the damages and destruction caused by recent floods and assured that Bangladesh will help the flood-affected people of Sindh province. Rooh-ul-Alam said that a 40-member medical team of Bangladesh was already performing duties and treating the ailing affectees in the relief camps of Hyderabad.
He informed that the Government of Bangladesh will provide two million dollars for welfare and relief work. Qaim Ali Shah said a large number of people were badly affected by floods while various countries and people are fully assisting them. He thanked the government of' Bangladesh for extending assistance for the flood affected people of the province.-PR
