Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President, Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry has urged the Federal Board of Revenue to extend date for filing of income tax returns. In a statement on Monday, LCCI president said the date should be extended by one month to enable businessmen submit their returns. The business community would not be able to file returns till September 30 on account of trade bodies' elections, he explained.
The extension in date would not only facilitate the businessmen, but would also send a very positive signal about the private-public sector liaison, he concluded.
