Comprehensive security arranged for Parliament session

Islamabad Police have made comprehensive and elaborate security arrangements in the Federal Capital, intensifying them for the on-going Parliament Session. As a part of its security plan, Islamabad Police have ensured extra deployment of personnel at Parliament House, said Tahir Alam Khan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Islamabad here on Tuesday.
He said that Commandos have been deployed around the sensitive and important government installations in the capital while special police teams have been constituted by each police station for effective patrolling in the area of its jurisdiction. Extra vigilance is being maintained and additional deployment of police personnel has been ensured at important locations including Chowks and signals, the SSP said.
