KARACHI: After West Indian legend Darren Sammy, England’s Chris Jordan has also posted a tweet in Pashto, adding to the excitement ahead of the third season of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The T20 specialist from England was among the four Zalmi players who visited Pakistan earlier this year to play PSL final in Lahore.
The 29-year-old bowler connected with Peshawar Zalmi fans on Thursday with a post in Pashto.

According to Peshawar Zalmi’s owner Javed Afridi, “Salamoona” is usually said in highest friendly manner.

He further translated Jordan’s tweet as saying “How are you? Seems you’ve forgotten us. Get yourself ready for PSL3. And yes, this time I will surely visit Peshawar.”
The tweet ends with saying Zalmi Zindabad, meaning “Long live Zalmi”.
