He further said that the creations of position holders children along with their snaps would also be displayed on big sized billboards at important inter sections of the city for their encouragement. He urged upon the education officers and cluster in-charges to perform their supervisory duties as a mission for improving conditions of schools. The DCO said school councils should be reactivated to launch a movement to renovate school buildings, provide pleasant atmosphere through organised plantation and beautify roads to the schools.
He stressed that attendance of teaching and administrative staff should be ensured besides improving the discipline in the schools. He added that teaching staff should be directed to focus on characterisation of students and they should be imparted, besides curriculum and extra curriculum, the teaching of moral values.
Sadiq observed that the younger generation should be inculcated spirit of social welfare and their constructive and creative qualities should be polished. In this regard, he said special lectures should be delivered on the topic of narcotics and beggary to sensitise school children against these social evils. The lectures would also create awareness regarding traffic rules so that the children are also able to communicate message against hatred of narcotics and beggary to their parents and other segment of the society.
