Managing director of a local mobile hospital manufacturing company Ahmad Medix Private Limited, Dr Sohail M. Ahmad met Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif here on Saturday and briefed him about the mobile healthcare system. Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said Punjab government is importing mobile hospitals for providing healthcare facilities to the people of remote and backward areas, adding that performance of locally manufactured hospitals will be reviewed.
Shahbaz said a committee of experts should undertake comparative analysis of foreign and locally manufactured mobile hospitals and present a report in this regard. Dr Sohail M. Ahmed informed the chief minister that locally manufactured mobile hospitals are equipped with all the facilities and the company Ahmad Medix Private Limited has exported two mobile hospitals to Africa while two mobile hospitals are being manufactured for Afghanistan.
