Just two days ago, iOS 11 was facing an auto-correction bug that caused a lot of trouble for the users. Immediately taking note of it, Apple released its update with the bug fix.
The iOS 11 update was released back in September and came in with many bugs. The update contained a bug in the keyboard that auto-corrected the letter ‘i’ to ‘A[?]’ that led to frustrated users taking to social media to show their anger. Apple immediately took note of the bug and within two days it released the iOS 11.1.1 update that fixed the bug.
iOS 11 bug leaves people infuriated
In an earlier report, Apple claimed that it would soon release an update to overcome the issue. Now, the company made the update available for everyone in such a short time. The update, however, is not a feature update. iOS 11.1.1 just fixes few bugs including the bug in Siri where ‘Hey Siri’ stopped working.
The iOS 11 update came in with a lot of bugs including the visual and calculator bug. Looks like Apple has now started working on them by pushing updates, reported Tech Juice.
However, the update for auto-correct issue is is a temporary one and not perfect for long-term use. The company previously fixed the issue in its iOS 11.2 beta update but soon the bug became so common that Apple had to fix it before the bigger update of iOS 11.2, wrote ars Technica.
