Soyabean futures on the Chicago Board of Trade extended their run of one-year highs on Monday, but pared gains to close only modestly firm as US harvest weather forecasts improved, traders said. CBOT November soybeans ended up 2-1/2 cents at $11.28-1/2 per bushel.
December soyameal down $1.30 at $315.70 per ton. Spot October soyaoil ended up 0.10 cent at 44.58 cents per lb after hitting 45.06, a contract high and the highest spot soyaoil price since September 29, 2008. Most-active December soyaoil settled up 0.08 cent at 44.97 cents per lb.
