US Mission in Pakistan has condemned killing of religious scholar and Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University of Swat, Dr Mohammad Farooq Khan on October 2 and the reported kidnapping of Vice-Chancellor of Islamia University in Peshawar, Dr Ajmal Khan.
The deliberate targeting of individuals, especially educators who support the future of young Pakistanis, is an abhorrent act. Those responsible for the killing and kidnapping must be brought to justice. Our thoughts and deep sympathies are with the families and friends affected by these horrible acts, it said.-PR
