Grams prices fall sharply on grain market

Grams prices fell sharply on the wholesales grain and seed market on Saturday in process of trading, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Australia low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 4750 and best type also dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 4900. Grams 50x50, in sympathy also lost Rs 100 to Rs 5200-5400, grams dal 50x50 shed Rs 100 to Rs 5900-6100.
Yellow peas Canada dropped by Rs 50 to Rs 3100-3250, yellow peas dal Canada was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2800-2950, yellow peas Ukrain low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 2800 and good type was lower by Rs 150 to Rs 2950, they said. On the cereal side, wheat old and new both type was up by Rs 5 to Rs 2590-2605. Gur best type was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 8200 and other type did not show any change at Rs 7300. Other items maintained the last levels, they said. A solo deal was seen on the seeds side, where cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh gained Rs 50 to Rs 1150-1160, other items traded but showed no change at close, they added.
