Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid Punjab (PML-Q) dissident group on Monday decided to complete its organisation and membership at the district level within a month, saying their group would start this mission from Southern Punjab.
PML-Q dissidents' Secretary General Hamayun Akhtar said the party has decided that its provincial president, secretary and information secretary would visit all the districts of the province to complete organisation, memberships of party workers, and appoint office-bearers in their respective areas.
He said they are also considering a strategy plan keeping in view the political situation in the country and formation of a new alliance of all the Muslim League factions. He informed that his has party also discussed the upcoming special meeting of the heads of various Pakistan Muslim Leagues in Lahore, which is to be chaired by Pir Pagaro.
Akhtar said his party has 'no need to support former president Pervez Musharraf's newly formed All Pakistan Muslim League as they are real politician and have been serving the people with their own political party.' He stressed on all Muslim League factions to get united and start their political struggle from a united platform, as it is the only way to stop the anti-state elements from coming into power.
