Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that in order to enable Deeni Madaris to join the national mainstream, modern knowledge is also made part of madaris along with religious education so that alumni could be able to face the challenges of present era and better job opportunities be made available to them.
He directed the Auqaf Department officials to co-ordinate with the federal government for formulation of the syllabus and establishment of examination boards for the Deeni Madaris. The senior advisor held a meeting at Assembly Chambers here on Monday to review various measures to enable Deeni Madaris to join national mainstream. The meeting was attended by Secretaries Auqaf, Law, Home, Higher Education Departments and TEVTA officials. Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that the government would provide equal educational opportunities to all children and they should study the same syllabus.
