Jamaat-e-Islami terms government report a charge-sheet against rulers

13 Oct, 2010

Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaquat Baloch has termed the government report indicating 53 per cent price hike as a charge sheet against the rulers which proved the government's failure on all fronts. In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, he said the PPP seeking vote from the masses in the name of Roti, Kapra and Makan had virtually denied the masses even the right to live.
Prices of electricity, gas, POL, LPG, food and other items had become very expensive. Talking about a fresh $7 billion IMF loan, the JI leader said this was tantamount to placing the country under the IMF and World Bank slavery completely. He said instead of seeking fresh IMF loan, the government should recover billions of dollars from the criminals who had plundered national wealth.
