Sugar hit a fresh eight-month high on Wednesday before easing, while coffee and ICE cocoa traded higher, supported by the weaker dollar. Benchmark March raw sugar futures on ICE hit an eight-month high of 28.04 cents a lb on Wednesday before easing to trade down 0.11 cent or 0.4 percent at 27.34 cents a lb at 1500 GMT.
Arabica coffee hit a 13-year high of $1.9865 a lb last month on increased investor interest. ICE March arabica coffee futures traded up 0.45 cent or 0.2 percent at $1.8765 a lb. ICE December cocoa was up $30 or 1 percent at $2,904 per tonne.
