The City District Government Karachi (CDGK) has completed the first phase of the oil tankers terminal at Zulfiqarabad here at the cost of Rs 10 million. This was stated by the senior officials of the CDGK during a briefing here on Thursday. Rasheed Mughal and Ateeq Baig said that the development work on the second phase would be initiated after the approval of the PC-I.
They were of the view that the CDGK has completed the first phase of the work in a satisfactory manner from its own resources. The oil tankers would be shifted to this very terminal by October 25 in accordance with the court's order. It was pointed out that the very purpose of the project is to provide space to the oil tankers for the parking so that the people could not face any inconveniences.
