Sindh Home Minister, Zulfiqar Mirza has asked Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Karachi to launch an impartial enquiry into the killings in Karachi and arrest the culprits.
In a statement from the office of Home Minister on Sunday, Mirza directed Rangers and police to increase patrolling in the affected areas and conduct snap checking to prevent further incidents of firing.
Moreover, he directed, ban on aerial firing may strictly be implemented and exhibition of arms and extra-ordinary security taken for the safety of general public, particularly of Orangi Town.
Home Minister directed police and Rangers to take effective measures, saying impartial action might be taken wherever necessary to control the law and order situation.
