20 Oct, 2010

Executive Director of Kashmir Centre London, Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl has demanded of the United Nations to send a rapporteur to investigate the killings and other massive human rights violations perpetrated by Indian troops in the occupied territory.
He condemned the highhandedness of the puppet administration in occupied Kashmir to prevent people from carrying out a peaceful march towards Palhalan. Professor Shawl in a statement said that the March was aimed at expressing solidarity with the families of those martyred by the occupation forces in the area.
According to KMS on Tuesday, he said Kashmir solution according to the aspirations of its people was a prerequisite for durable peace in the region. The Executive Director appealed the international community to use its good offices and impress upon India to stop killing of innocent civilians in occupied Kashmir and give the people their birth right to self-determination.
