Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Wednesday issued notice to the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) for November 05 in a petition of Model Town Welfare Society seeking removal of barricades and obstacles from a road of M-block placed in the name of security of Minhajul Quran.
Through its Joint Secretary Habibur Rehman, the society submitted that police, district administration and Minhajul Quran have put barricades and obstacles on the road of M-Block, Model Town Extension in the name of security to the building of Madrissah Idara Minhajul Quran.
He said the barricades and obstacles have become a nuisance for the residents, as the security personnel frisk every citizen going through that area and they were facing hardships.
