Islamabad Police have arrested ten outlaws including a lady drug smuggler from different areas for their alleged involvement in drug pushing, dacoities and possession of illegal weapons. Drugs and arms also recovered from their possession.
Ten outlaws were arrested from different areas including a lady smuggler while three pistols, 11 bottles of liqueur and 2.2 kilogram charas was recovered from their possession, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police on Wednesday.
He said that Bhara Kahu Police during a special checking has intercepted a car number MB-135 and during the checking, police recovered two pistols (30-bore), 330 bullets and nine bottles of liqueur from three passengers in the car. The detained car riders were identified as Muhammad Shahzad, Asim and Muhammad Faisal. Police also impounded the car as well, he added.
Bhara Kahu Police also arrested a drug smuggler Najeebullah and recovered charas from his possession, spokesman said, adding that the CIA Police on a tip off checked Naveed Akhtar and recovered a pistol (30-bore) and five bullets.
He said that Tarnol Police intercepted two drug smugglers including a lady smuggler and recovered 1.56 kilogram charas from them. Police intercepted Mausam Khan, a drug smuggler and recovered 1.06 kilogram charas, recovering 500 gram charas from a lady smuggler Razia Bibi, he added.
Sabzi Mandi Police arrested two drug pushers namely Maqsood Khan and Muhammad Waris and recovered 500 gram charas from them, he said, adding that Shahzad Town recovered two bottles liqueur from Khursheed. Separate cases were registered against these outlaws.
