Speaker adjourns National Assembly session to mourn death of Leghari

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Dr Fedmida Mirza on Monday adjourned House of the National Assembly to mourn the death of former President and MNA Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari following offering Fateha for the departed soul.
Only a senior member of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q), Riaz Hussain Pirzada paid tribute to former President Farooq Laghari and said that he was an impairment political leader of the Party who devoted his life for strengthening democracy and supremacy of the Parliament. He said his party leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervaiz Elahi also expressed grief over the sad demise of the former President Farooq Laghari.
He commended the services rendered by the former President in the politics of Pakistan and prayed to the Almighty Allah to shower his eternal blessings on the departed soul and grant courage to the family to bear this irreparable loss. Earlier, the Speaker administered oath on a newly elected member of the National Assembly Mumtaz Taman.
