Korean Embassy provides equipment to PTF

The Korean Embassy has provided Taekwondo equipment to the affiliated departments and associations of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF). PTF President, Iftikhar Ahmed Tabassum told APP, "we are very thankful to the Embassy for their generous contribution".
PTF Secretary Wasim Ahmed said," We have good relations with Korean Embassy since October 2003 and to keep up the relations with the Embassy, the federation was organising annually national Taekwondo Championship with the name of Korean Ambassador Taekwondo Championship."
Meanwhile, Choong Joo Choi, Korean Ambassador of South Korea to Pakistan said," Taekwondo is a Korean national sport and is a popular game in Asia." "It is a sport that shows ways of attraction to our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Today, it has become a global sport that has gained an international reputation, and stands among the official games in the Olympics." "The Korean Government is trying their utmost for promotion of this sport in Pakistan," he added.
