Sugar soars to Rs 105 per kg in Quetta

The sugar is being sold at Rs 105 per kg in the open market in the metropolitan of Balochistan on Saturday. According to a survey conducted by APP it was revealed that the rate of 50 kg of sugar sack has jumped to Rs 4800 from 4400 and it is being sold at Rs 105 per kg with the increase of Rs five within last two days in the open market.
Reacting to the recent hike in sugar rates, the consumers alleged that the Price Control Committee and District Administration have failed to control the sky rocketing prices of daily commodities. The increase in the prices of daily use items has doubled the sufferings of an ordinary man. They also contended that the Utility Store has concealed the sugar after the increase in sugar prices in open market.
