Attacks on mosques condemned

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has strongly condemned terrorist attacks on two mosques in north-western Pakistan on Friday that left more than 70 people dead. "The Secretary-General is dismayed by the indiscriminate killing of civilians in a place of worship, which no cause can justify," Ban's spokesperson said in a statement. The UN chief extended his condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Pakistan.
