179 new dengue patients reported in Lahore

During last 24 hours 179 cases of dengue have been reported from Lahore and 33 from other districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. A release of Health Department (Communicable Diseases Control Cell) issued here on Sunday said that 94 dengue patients have been discharged after recovery from different hospitals in Punjab while 167 confirmed dengue patients are under treatments.
It said 179 cases of dengue have been reported from Lahore and 33 from other districts during the last 24 hours which indicate that dengue cases are gradually reducing as 252 cases were reported on Saturday.
According to the information 50 confirmed dengue patients are under treatment in Jinnah Hospital, 17 in Services Hospital, four in Children Hospital, four in LGH Lahore, 40 in Mayo Hospital, 10 in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, six in Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan, one in Nishtar Hospital Multan, five in DHQ Rawalpindi, 23 in Allied Hospital Faisalabad and 23 in Government Nawaz Sharif Hospital Yaki Gate, who are being provided free medical care.
