Shahbaz terms killings of Punjabis in Balochistan tragic

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Punjabis living in Balochistan are brethren of Balochis and the incidents of targeted killings of Punjabis in the province are tragic. Addressing a function in honour of students of Balochistan at the CM House on Wednesday, Shahbaz announced to double the quota for Balochistan students in different institutions of Punjab.
He particularly thanked CM Raisani for attending the function. Earlier the Chief Minister received Balochistan CM Raisani at the airport. Speaking about Punjab's role in accommodating Balochistan in NFC Award, Shahbaz said it has enhanced unity among the provinces.
Shahbaz termed the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti as tragic and said the PML-N was the first party to raise voice against the incident. Speaking on the occasion, CM Balochistan said that youngsters should follow the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal. He further said that concrete steps were being taken to improve standard of education in Balochistan.
The Chief Minister stated that induction of 4,000 Baloch youngsters in Pakistan Army was an honour for the province. He urged upon the students to concentrate their efforts on acquiring quality education. Senior Advisor Punjab Sardar Zulifqar Khan Khosa, Baloch Muslim League Leader Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nassir, Nawabzada Chengez Khan Marri also attended the function.
