IBM holds conference on corporate governance

The Institute of Business Management (IBM) had organised the first conference on corporate governance/strategy and competitiveness at hotel here on Wednesday.
The objective of this conference, organised in collaboration with Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG), the Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP), was to provide a platform to the experienced class of the industry to bring into play their experiences and ideas related to achieving competitive edge and constructing policies of progress.
The conference attracted incomparable teams from all organisations which desire to turn into the best to be a part of this elite platform, featuring futurists and corporate leaders like Dr John D Sullivan, Executive Director, CLPE, Washington, Zubyr Soomro, Chairman of KSE, Fuad A Hashimi, Khawar Saeed Ansari, Mom M Fudda, Zaffar A Khan, Arif Usmani, Jalees Ahmed Siddiqi, Kamal A Chinoy, Muhammad Tabba, Naveed A Khawaja, and Sarfaraz A Rehinan CEO.
The conference included a participant portfolio from organisations such as EFU Insurance, TCP, Indus Motors, Adamjee Insurance, Habib Bank, Thal Engineering, SBP, Abbot, Dollar Industries, AJ-Ghazi Tractors, Atlas Engineering, Attock Cement, Century Insurance Company, Glaxo Smith Kline Pakistan, Orix Leasing, etc. The conference was part of IBM management and leadership series in strategic partnership with IFC, Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG), Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and Management Association of Pakistan (MAP).
