With growing rumors of Samsung’s next Galaxy flagship, the Galaxy S9, it is expected that the phone is set to arrive soon. This time there are rumors that Samsung might launch ‘Galaxy S9 mini’ along with two new phones – Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.

At the time of Galaxy S8 launch, rumors prevailed that the company might introduce its mini version of the phone too namely Galaxy S8 mini but those rumors turned out to be false. However, now it is believed that Samsung will launch three versions of Galaxy S9 series by March 2018 – Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy S9 mini.

Reports suggest that the mini version will be a premium device with a 5-inch edge to edge curved infinity display. It is expected that the smartphone manufacturer will construct this mini version with similar specifications to its other phones but just with a smaller screen.

Samsung to make major changes in Galaxy S9 and S9+

Galaxy S9 is believed to contain a new fingerprint sensor position since the previous position of the sensor in Galaxy S8 and S8+ caused trouble for users. Similar to the iPhone X, Galaxy S9 might also come with a Face ID like feature, since the devices are expected to feature 3D facial recognition sensor. The S9 devices will reportedly come in with only 4GB RAM, reported Tech Juice.

As per the leaker, ‘Ice Universe’, the phone will feature dual camera but with the lens coated with BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) – a feature used in DSLRs currently to avoid glare, ghosting and reflections, wrote Forbes.
