Abducted Afghan CG released after two years

Abductors have released Afghan Consul General in Peshawar, Dr Abdul Khaliq Farahi on Saturday after keeping him in captivity for two years, Aaj News reported. Dr Farahi was abducted on September 22, 2008 from Peshawar. At the time of abduction, the abductors had opened fire on Dr Farahi's vehicle, killing his driver. Later, the captors had also released a video of Dr Abdul Khaliq Farahi, the channel added.
