Capital police launch operation: over 80 suspected persons held from various areas

Islamabad Police in an operation launched against suspected persons have arrested over 80 criminals from different areas. The operation was launched in the areas falling in the jurisdiction of Koral Police particularly in rural areas of the Capital in which over 80 persons were nabbed for involvement in anti-social activities, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Umar Hayat who led the operation said that search operation was initiated to apprehend criminal elements residing in the various areas including under construction plazas. He said that 80 suspects were arrested on Saturday during the search operation in Korang Town, CBR Colony, PWD Colony, Swan area and strict vigilance is being maintained in the rural area. SP Umer Hayat said that it is the prime responsibility of the police in present law and order situation to remain vigilant and every possible effort would be made to ensure peace.
Station House Officers Abdul Razzaq conducted the search operation and nabbed the suspected elements. He has also directed for extra vigilance in respective jurisdiction to avoid any untoward incident. He said that extra deployment has been made in the various rural areas and strict vigilance is being made.
