Islamabad police arrest 84 outlaws

Islamabad Police during search operation to nab the suspected and anti-social elements have arrested 84 outlaws and recovered illegal arms, drugs, liqueur and stolen items from their possession. During search operation one Kalashnikove, five pistols, two kg charas, 110 bottle liqueur were recovered, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police on Tuesday.
Besides Islamabad Police, Bomb Disposal Squad, Anti Terrorist Squad, Police Commandos and Females Commandos took part in the operation, the spokesman said. He said that 110 houses were searched in the slum area of Bari Imam from where 23 suspected persons were arrested while heroin and 110 bottles of liqueur were recovered from two outlaws namely Muhammad Fayyaz and Muhammad Irshad.
Golrra and Tarnol Police Station also held search operations in their respective areas and arrested 14 suspects and recovered one pistol during the operation, the spokesman said. Bhara Kahu Police during the operation nabbed ten outlaws while one Kalashnikove and 70 bullets were recovered from one outlaw. Industrial area and Sabzi Mandi Police Stations held nine outlaws during the operation and recovered three pistols from three outlaws.
Sihala and Koral Police held 12 suspects during the search operation, while Kohsar and Aabpara Police arrested six suspects during the operation. Shahzad Town Police held ten suspects in the operation. The spokesman also said that during special checking 20 motorcycles and ten vehicles were impounded and were kept at different police station due to incomplete documents.
