Chief Minister Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday directed Pakistan People's Party (PPP) workers and office-bearers to observe December 4 as Culture Day, a private TV channel reported. According to the channel, Qaim Ali Shah, who is also president of PPP Sindh, asked the party office-bearers, workers, provincial ministers and advisors to set up camps with party flags atop and banners, besides distributing Sindhi Topi and Ajrak on the day.
He directed them to start preparations to celebrate the day as Culture Day to highlight and promote Sindh's rich and colourful culture and traditions. He asked that rallies be taken out besides organising seminars and symposiums, the channel added.
