Itwar & Juma bazars: stalls of market committees to be set up

The stalls of market committees would be set up in the Itwar & Juma bazars in the district on regular basis for the sale of Potato, Onion and Tomato on the comparatively concessional prices from the open market. This was informed during a meeting held here on Saturday under the chairmanship of DCO Naseem Sadiq.
The meeting was attended by EDO(R) Liaqat chahta, SAO Khalid Manzoor DDOs (R), TMOs, Secretary market committee and other officers. The DCO reviewed the arrangements of the Juma and Itwar bazars and express his commitment regarding successful holding of these bazars for the economic relief of the consumers.
He said that the quality essential commodities would be ensured available on the reduced prices. He said that the special sales points would also be established in juma and itwar bazar for the sale of sugar on subsidised price of Rs 63 per KG. He directed the TMOs for organised holding of Juma and Itwar bazars and said foolproof security measures should be ensured besides deployment of civil defence volunteers. Further, he directed that cleanliness condition in these bazaars should be up to the mark and every possible relief to the consumers should be provided to the public to meet the challenge of price like.
Meanwhile, DCO Naseem Sadiq visited the whole Sale Points of the sugar and inspected the arrangement for the facilities of the purchasers. He informed that the sufficient stock of sugar was available in the district and the city district Government.
