24 Nov, 2010

The increasing prices of petrol and diminishing level of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) have made it difficult for the motorists to ply their vehicles. In this situation, there is a need of such type of a fuel that can be supplied to the people at a cheaper price without having to wait in long queue.
To fulfil this need, two renowned trading institutions, Army Welfare Trust and WAK Group, have signed an agreement, according to which, at Askari CNG Stations throughout the country, the facility of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be provided to the vehicles by WAK Gas.
It is important to mention here that the price of LPG Kit is half as compared to that of CNG while LPG is much better fuel than CNG for the engine. Many countries have already shifted their commercial auto sector to LPG while in Singapore, all taxis run only on LPG. In the same way, almost 0.3 million vehicles in Australia, 0.7 million in Japan and all rickshaws in India and Thailand consume LPG. More than 100 LPG stations are already working in India.-PR
