With an aim to highlight importance of women in business and society in general, Terrabiz and Pakistan Society of Training and Development (PSTD) are organising third WIBCON; 'Women in Business and Leadership' conference', in Lahore on November 25 (tomorrow).
The one-day conference with the theme "Women in business, architects of change", being managed by TerraBiz, will highlight and celebrate the achievements of businesswomen and corporate leaders in Pakistan. Rahat Kaunain Hassan, Chairperson, Competition Commission of Pakistan will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while Eithene Treanor, Special Correspondent, CNBC Europe will be the keynote speaker.
Other main attractions include thought-provoking sessions: beyond start and finish line, gender - just society and capacity building of female professionals, the power of no. It would also include various panel discussions such as: managing your career, advice by senior leaders, promoting women entrepreneur-ship - challenges and opportunities, handling issues at workplace, skin matters by Dr Fazila Abbasi, and inspirational (real) stories.
The conference intends to empower and inspire excellence in women by highlighting success stories and providing interactive panel discussion sessions where women leaders will impart skills and techniques to help delegates grow professionally, especially in developing personal leadership qualities.
