Malik's surprise visit to Police Station: duty staff awarded Rs 25,000 as cash prize

Federal Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik paid a surprise visit to Secretariat Police Station on late night and checked the record of the police station and found it satisfactory and awarded the staff Rs 25,000, as cash prize. He asked from the duty officer about the complaints filed by different applicants and the action taken on them.
Malik appreciated the vigilance of the duty staff, saying that vigilant police can help eradicate the menace of terrorism and crime. He took round of lock-up, store, record and reporting rooms and found each and every thing in order for which he awarded Rs 25,000 to the staff on duty, as prize. Malik lauded the performance of SHO Inspector Hakim Khan, Duty Officer Sub Inspector Sultan Ahmad, Mohrar Khalid, night Mohrar Muhammad Fayyaz, Constables Fazl-e-Rabbi, Azhar Mehmood and Gul Zubair.
