Ambassador of Greece to Pakistan, Petros Mavroidis on Saturday visited Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) office and held detailed deliberations to explore investment and trade opportunities in Punjab and improve Pak-Greece trade relations.
Chief Executive Officer PBIT, Saadat Muzaffar during the meeting highlighted the key areas mutually beneficial to both countries. Muzaffar said Pakistan and Greece enjoy good bilateral relations and the objective of this visit is to improve trade and economic relations between the two countries.
The PBIT facilitated Greek ambassador with the knowledge of investment opportunities in the province, while a number of investment projects and developed feasibility were also introduced. Mavroidis endorsed PBIT's perspective by reciprocating similar views and further highlighting ways of improving trade with Pakistan.
Secretary Commerce and Investment Punjab, Fazal Abbas Maken and Director Foreign Interface PBIT, Jalal Hasan were also present on this occasion. The visit is in continuation of European Union ambassador's dinner hosted by Punjab Chief Minister in June this year. Bilateral relations between Greece and Pakistan are at a very good level but there is always room for improvement and a need of enhancing trade.
