Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Babar Awan has said that Pakistan People's Party (PPP) wants to run the affairs of the government under rules and regulations. Talking to a private news channel, he said that the PPP does not want to see parliament becoming hostage to the desires of some people, but it wants to run it under rules and regulations.
The minister said the bill would also be tabled in National Assembly. He added that PPP would never allow the path of national reconciliation to be abandoned despite the fact that some members chanted slogans against the document signed by them.
He reminded that the government, after coming into power, accepted the difficult challenges whether it was the challenge of establishing writ of the government in Swat or NFC Awards. Dr Awan said PPP has given a chance to the nation to give its opinion on Reformed General Sales Tax.
