Shahbaz for promotion of Pakistan-Greece trade

Ambassador of Greece in Pakistan Petros Mavroidis met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here Saturday. Matters of mutual interest and co-operation in various sectors were discussed during the meeting. MNA Pervaiz Malik, Chairman Planning & Development Javed Aslam and Secretary Commerce Fazal Abbas Maken were also present on this occasion.
Talking to the Ambassador of Greece, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is facing security problems, however, the entire nation is united in the war against terrorism and, we, Inshallah, will definitely succeed in eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country. He said that there is a need of promoting economic and trade activities between Pakistan and Greece. A delegation from Punjab can be sent to Greece for ascertaining the co-operation in various sectors between Punjab and Greece.
Talking on this occasion, Ambassador of Greece Petros Mavroidis said that a large number of Pakistanis are living in Greece and they are playing very important role in the development of various sectors. He said that practical steps will be taken for the promotion of co-operation between Pakistan and Greece and exchange of delegations between both the countries is of great importance in this regard. He averred that he will welcome the delegation from Punjab for enhancing economic and trade relations between two countries and if the Chief Minister will lead the delegation, it will be a matter of pleasure for him. Senior Minister of Sindh for Education Pir Mazharul Haq also called on the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and discussed with him matters of mutual interest.
