CPLC recovers 27,000 snatched mobile phones

The Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC - Sindh) has recovered and handed over more than 27,000 mobile phones to their owners in the first 10 months of current year. These mobile phones were recovered with the assistance of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Karachi Electronic Market Dealers Association, said CPLC Chief Ahmed Chinoy here on Friday.
In a statement he said there are still more than 100 recovered cell phones in the custody of CPLC. Ahmed Chinoy requested the owners to collect their cell phones from CPLC Central Reporting Cell with prior intimation on given phone numbers on presentation of original CNIC and original Warranty Card.
